Australian guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel began performing at six and quickly became an in‑demand session player, appearing on hits and touring with acts like Air Supply and Men at Work. Inspired by Chet Atkins—later his mentor—he launched a solo career in 1979, releasing acclaimed instrumental albums that made him a global standout. Emmanuel has since headlined the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall, toured with Eric Clapton and John Denver, earned a Grammy, performed for billions at the Sydney Olympics, and collaborated with legends from Les Paul to Billy Strings. His newest album, Living In The Light, recorded in just four days, blends pop, jazz, classical, and roots influences into one of his most daring and intimate works.
