After a run of indie releases and growing buzz in the Atlanta music scene, Shawn Mullins broke through when Soul’s Core (1998) launched him to national fame with the Grammy‑nominated No. 1 hit “Lullaby.” He followed it with the AAA/Americana No. 1 “Beautiful Wreck” from 2006’s 9th Ward Pickin’ Parlor. His song “Shimmer” promoted the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics and appeared on the Dawson’s Creek soundtrack. He co‑wrote “All in My Head” for 2008’s Honeydew, which debuted in the first episode of Scrubs. He also co‑wrote the Zac Brown Band’s No. 1 country hit “Toes.”

In 2002, he teamed up with Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge to form the supergroup The Thorns. Their track “No Blue Sky” has since become a modern classic. To mark the 20th anniversary of Soul’s Core, Mullins revisited the album with Soul’s Core Revival, recording two new versions: one featuring stripped‑down solo performances on guitar, piano, and even a cappella, and another featuring full‑band arrangements with Soul Carnival.

Cat Ridgeway

Recently voted Orlando’s Best Rock Act and Best Singer/Songwriter (three years running), Cat Ridgeway commands the stage as a powerhouse performer from Orlando, FL. She delivers soulful vocals, high energy, and a magnetic presence that pulls audiences in.

Her 2020 release, Nice to Meet You, marked her debut as a fully independent artist on commercial radio and as a touring musician. The record earned her spots on numerous “Ones to Watch” lists. She has directly supported Houndmouth, Amanda Shires, Hannah Wicklund, Emily Wolfe, Brett Dennen, and Rock & Roll Hall‑of‑Famer Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane/Starship). She has also shared bills with Arcade Fire, Leon Bridges, Hozier, Sylvan Esso, and Lucy Dacus, among many others. In 2016, indie‑rock duo Tegan & Sara selected Cat as the winner of their worldwide cover contest, praising her vocals and multi‑instrumentalism.

Her latest release, Sprinter, is a vibrant collection of indie‑rock songs filled with color and sprawling soundscapes. It was co‑produced by Mike Savino (Tall Tall Trees) and Ridgeway herself, and mixed by Dan Molad (Coco, Lucius). The record features Claude Coleman Jr. (Ween), Josiah Wolf (WHY?), and Adam Schatz (Sylvan Esso).
